I had a great time at the company Christmas gathering last Saturday. It was payak (simple), but admittedly it was more fun in a way that we got to enjoy the activities. Gone are the days when we would arrive tired from presentation practice. For the raffle, I got another bottle of wine, making it two years in a row... I think.
But the best present I got was the after party. Whatever it was, I'd like to keep it to myself. All I want to say is that I am extremely happy. (Play "Halo" by Beyonce here.)
All's well at the office Christmas gathering, which is good, since it may also well be that last I'd attend here.
